New tip from our last Sunday’s walk. The day was sunny but quite muddy, my girlfriend Lucía can tell you how she liked the muddy parts So instead of the originally planned long hike, we took this short walk, which turned out great anyway!
First we had to take a short train from Masaryk railway station to the station Praha-Dolní Počernice. From there, it is only a few hundred meters to the nice castle park Dolní Počernice, which also has a large pond. Very nice place to relax!
From the park we recommend to take a walk to the modern wooden lookout tower Doubravka XIV. There is no entrance fee, but during the days off there can be a lot of people. Therefore, if you have the opportunity, visit the tower during less busy days and times. Thanks to that, you will enjoy the views from the tower much more.
Enjoy!
